Technical Layer

Token Gating is a core mechanism within the Activelink platform. It's used to control who can access certain features or content, based on whether they hold specific tokens. This system encourages user engagement and rewards, while also regulating access to premium or restricted content.

We will explore the technical implementation of Token Gating, covering important factors like token generation, token gating logic, token verification, token consumption, token management, and token security. By integrating Token Gating into the Activelink platform, we enhance the user experience, encourage ongoing participation, and maintain a balanced ecosystem for all users.

Token Generation

When users complete certain actions or meet specific criteria, like finishing tasks, reaching goals, or buying tokens, they are rewarded with tokens. The Activelink system gives users tokens as a way to recognize and incentivize their achievements. These token rewards help motivate users to engage with the platform and continue working towards their objectives.

Token Accumulation

When users complete certain actions or meet specific criteria, like finishing tasks, reaching goals, or buying tokens, they are rewarded with tokens. The Activelink system gives users tokens as a way to recognize and incentivize their achievements. These token rewards help motivate users to engage with the platform and continue working towards their objectives.

Token Gating Logic

Merchants create rules and conditions that decide which features or content need tokens for access. This logic can depend on different factors like user roles, subscription levels, achievements, or other relevant measurements.

Token Verification

The Activelink platform has integrated functionality that can quickly identify a user's membership status. This function can instantly determine if someone's membership is valid or expired. This makes it easy for an application to adjust its behavior based on the user's membership level or status, such as restricting access to certain content or features. This verification ensures that only users with the required tokens can move forward.

Token Validation

The Activelink platform is designed to grant users access to the Activelink ecosystem based on token validation. In this process, tokens work as a primary means of authentication and authorization, enabling seamless and secure access to various features and functionalities within the Activelink ecosystem.

When users attempt to access a particular service on Activelink, their token is validated to confirm their identity and permissions. This process involves verifying the authenticity of the token against predetermined criteria set by the platform.

Once validated, the user is granted access to the requested resource or service, allowing them to interact with the platform according to their designated ownership. This is important as it also stops users from getting unlimited access to restricted content and motivates them to keep earning more tokens by staying engaged.

Token Management

The Activelink platform allows users to earn tokens by participating in different activities, and potentially earn more tokens through in-app purchases or other methods. The collection of badges also gives the users access to exclusive content and opportunities.

Token Ownership

A token is an asset that represents ownership or value in a decentralized system. The Activelink wallet works on the blockchain where each token represents ownership and everyone can see who owns what.

When a new token is made, it gets a special code called (uniquely identified) that connects it to one blockchain address. For example, if 5,000 same NFTs are made, each one gets its own unique identifier so you can tell them apart.

Tokens have high value because they prove you truly own something unique. They cannot be copied or faked easily. This makes them very desirable and useful.

The Activelink wallet keeps your tokens safe and secure. Only you can access your tokens with your private keys. The public keys show ownership without risking token safety.
